BH College prize-money debate competition

Howly, March 12: BH College, Howly, under the aegis of BH College Students’ Union, will organize a State-level Inter College Prize money Debate Competition on April 11 in memory of Dr Surendra th Das, former State Health Minister and one of the founding fathers of BH College. The topic of the debate is ‘The present free trade policy is a boon for Indian economy’ and the winner will get Rs 15,000. The second prize carries an award of Rs 10,000, third prize carries an award of Rs 5,000 and two special jury award of Rs 2,000 each. The medium of the debate will be English and Assamese and from each college there must be two participants, one for the motion and one against the motion. Interested students must confirm their participation by April 8.
