Bhupenda's birth anniversary celebration

KALAIGAON, September 6: Kalaigaon Anchalik Committee of All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and Sa Re Ga Ma Music College along with Kalaigaon College AASU are jointly going to celebrate the 89th birth anniversary of Dr Bhupen Hazarika on September 8.

The celebration will start with AASU’s flag hoisting early in the morning. Dithakanda Hazarika, Circle Officer of Kalaigaon revenue circle, will offer garland at Bhupenda’s statue. As part of the programme, Bhupendra Sangeet competition will be iugurated by singer Manin Barua.
