Big victory for Bud CC

GUWAHATI, Feb 20: Bud Cricket Club (Red) thrashed Cricket Golden Generation by huge margin of 118 runs in the 14th Bud Challenge Cricket tourment match held at Mangaldoi today. Rode on a fine knock from Kul Saikia (91, 62 Balls, 4X10, 6X4) Bud, invited to bat, scored 230-6 in 40 overs. Swarupam Purkayaastha (40) and Rishav Das (34) were the other major contributors with bat. Later Deepak Gohain (4-17 ) produced a nice spell  which helped Bud to restrict Cricket Golden Generation paltry 112 runs. Brief scorer: Bud CC (Red) 230-6 in 40 Overs, Kul Saikia 91, Swarupam Purkayastha 40, Rishav Das 34, Sidharth Choubey 2-17, Aman Chetri 2-29 Cricket Golden Generation 112 (34.5 Overs).
