Big win for City's Red and Blue

GUWAHATI, April 17: City Cricket club (Red) and City cricket club (Blue) won their respective matches in the 2nd Golap Hazarika and Arati Hazarika T20 All Assam Prize Money Cricket championship which got under way at the Judges ground here today. Both the matches were one sided affair. In the first game,  City Cricket club (Red) defeated Chandmari Sports club by a huge margin of 113 runs. City Cricket club (Blue) in the other match of the day beat Youth CC by 109 runs.  

Elected to bat City Cricket club (Red) piled up 182-3 in 20 overs thanks to a nice innings from Ishwar Yadav  who played 53 balls 60 runs knock with the help of 8 boundaries.  In reply Chandmari Sports club just maged to score 69-9 in their stipulated 20 overs. Meanwhile in the other game, rode on two good knocks from Romario Sarma (98) and Rahul Hazarika (77),  City Cricket club (Blue) posted 207 runs in  20 overs. Youth CC were 98-8 after the end of their 20 overs. Tomorrows match: Mahara Ac vs BJSS.
