Big win for gaon

GUWAHATI, March 10: gaon registered one innings and 59 runs victory against Dibrugarh in the Semi fil group  league match of the Nuruddin Inter district Cricket tourment held at the NFRSA stadium, Maligaon today.Dibrugarh, who were forced to follow on yesterday, were bowled out 193 runs in the second innings. Except Prasanta Sonowal, who played a well composed knock of 64 runs, no other batsmen of  Dibrugarh were able to stay on the wicket for a long period. Amit Sinha, the most successful bowler for gaon, picked up five wickets while Bitap Mahanta bagged three. gaon collected seven points from the game and are now placed in number one position in the point table.
