Bike thief bbed at Tengakhat

DULIAJAN, April 2: Tengakhat police on Thursday recovered a stolen bike and arrested a youth from the residence of Bharat Bhujia of Kamuhat gaon under Tengakhat Police station. The alleged thief has been identified as Jadav Lahon (20),son of Shiva Prasad Lahon, resident of Gandhia Gaon under Tengakhat PS and the bike’s registration number is AS23-D-8458. According to police sources, the bike’s owner Diganta Saikia was lodged an FIR at Duliajan police station on March 27 regarding theft of the bike. This morning when Lahon tried to sell the bike, Bharat Bhujia grew suspicious and informed Tengakhat police.
