Biplab pays obeisance to his guru

Agartala, April 4: Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb paid obeisance to his guru Thakur Anukul Chandra by asuring a direct rail connection from Agartala to Deoghar in Bihar. He obtained a specific assurance in this respect from the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal during a meeting on Tuesday evening in New Delhi.  Chief Minister is a devout disciple of Thakur Anukul Chandra whose main Ashram is at Deoghar. Before the last Assembly election, Babai Dada, the present head of the Anukul Thakur order visited Tripura to attend the annual programme of the Ashram. Biplab Deb, the then state president of BJP, met Babai Dada, offered his prayer and said if his party were to win, he would ensure a direct train from Agartala to Deoghar.
