Birth anniversary of Maa Sarada Devi observed

MARGHERITA, Dec 20: The 164th birth anniversary of Maa Sarada Devi was observed on Tuesday at Margherita Ramakrish Sevasram where many devotees came from far and wide. The birth anniversary celebration began with Sri Sri Thakur Mangalrati followed by Prabhati Parikrama, feeding children, special guru puja and Chandipat. After that the holy book Sri Sri Ramakrish Kothamrit was delivered by Bela Deb, president of Maa Sarada Sangha Margherita which was followed by an open session and devotiol songs.  The main topic of the open session was women education in the eyes of Maa Sarada where Rintu Bhattacharjee participated as special guest. Bela Deb and Piyali Mazumder, president and secretary of Sarada Sangha Margherita Ramakrish Sevasram, thanked the people present for making the programme successful.
