Biswajit Chauhan CRPF Jawan From Assam Martyred

KALAIGAON: Biswajit Chauhan (23), CRPF jawan from Assam was martyred during an operation against naxals in Jharkhand jungle on Monday morning. According to reports, he gunned down three extremists but ultimately fell prey to their bullets. The body of the martyr, who hail from Puthimari under Kalaigaon Police Station in Udalguri District, was received by Minister Rihon Daimary along with CRPF officials on Tuesday. The last rites were performed with full state honours in his residential campus at Puthimari. He leaves behind his father, mother and sister.
