Biswanath Xattriya students shine

Biswanath Chariali, May 9: The students of Nrityanjali Kala Niketan of Biswanath Chariali in Biswanath district brought laurels by successfully participating in the recently concluded All India Classical Dance Competition, 2018, (better known as Kalpataru Festival) held at Natyakeshi Academy of Performing Arts, Solapur, Pune, Maharashtra. The festival was held on the occasion of International Dance Day. The students of Nrityanjali Kala Niketan participated in Xattriya dance form category. They performed in junior, senior, duet and group dance sections. The troupe took part under the guidance of Niketan’s Principal, Ankumani. The troupe was also adjudged ‘Best of the Best Team’ in the competition.
