BJP forms Hojai Municipal Board

Hojai, April 6: The 19-member Hojai Municipal Board was formed on Saturday. The members were administered the oath at the Hojai Municipal Board conference hall. The municipal board was formed with Chaturthi Rani Biwas as chairperson and Ram Kumar Saha as vice-chairman. The newly-elected chairperson and vice-chairman of Hojai Municipal Board assured that all efforts would be made to improve the condition of Hojai town such as cleanliness, drinking water, roads and drains. Emily Baruah, Magistrate in-charge and Executive Officer, Hojai Municipal Board, said that the MASA programme should continue on priority basis for the cleanliness of Hojai town.
