BJP government stable: Tapir Gao

 From our correspondent

Itagar, Aug 26: Aruchal Pradesh BJP President Tapir Gao has asserted that there is no threat to the Pema Khandu-led government in the State.
Addressing party workers of West Siang district at Town Hall Club at Aalo on Friday before the joining of 12 ZPMs from Basar Assembly constituency, Gao said the BJP has established itself everywhere across the State.
“There is no threat to the BJP government and there is no sign of change of leadership as the government is stable, and there is no move to dislodge Khandu,” he said, referring to PPA having been ousted from NEDA for trying to destabilise the government.
Gao urged party workers to ensure that more than 100 schemes launched by the rendra Modi-led central government reach the beneficiaries. “The party has a policy of updating status of activities and development in the State.  Thus, it is the need of the hour to coordite with officials, PRI members and elected representatives,” he said.
Basar MLA Gojen Gadi, also the Parliamentary Secretary for Land Magement, SJETA and WCD, said: “Our state depends on funds from the Centre, so we need to clear our works from time to time so as to receive fund on regular basis. Since BJP heads the government in Delhi and the State, most leaders and PRI members have joined the party to help the Pema Khandu government accelerate in the development process.”
Gadi welcomed the 12 ZPMs – 11 from PPA and one from Congress – to the BJP. Echoing Gao that there is no threat to the BJP government, Gadi said the party MLAs are united.
