BJP leader passes away in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT, May 13: Jamuguri Regiol BJP’s president and assistant teacher of Jamuguri Lokpriya Jatiya Vidyalaya, Brojen Saikia breathed his last at his own residence on Saturday morning. Saikia was suffering from jaundice-related ailments. Brojen Saikia was associated with various organisations and actively involved in social activities.

He leaves behind his wife, a son and a host of relatives and well-wishers. The death of Saikia has been widely mourned in Jamuguri areas. A large number of mourners including family friends, prominent citizens, and social workers besides relations visited the bereaved family to extend.
