BJP slams Tuki government for political instability

Itagar, Oct 6: The BJP in Aruchal Pradesh on Tuesday criticized the bam Tuki government for the political instability in the state due to in-fighting between Congresses legislators for which, the people are suffering. “Development activities in the state came to a grinding halt because of interl bickering in the Congress with the innocent people the worst sufferers. It is a sheer betrayal of the mandate and faith reposed by the people on the government,” party’s state unit president Tai Tagak told reporters. “We are observing the development minutely and will never allow it to happen for the interest of the state and the people,” he added. Stating that the Congress which, was in ICU has now gone into coma, Tagak said, “We have predicted earlier that because of holding elections prior to the due date last year, people will suffer a lot, which has been proved today.”

Responding to media queries on rumours that BJP was trying to destablise the Congress government to install its own, Taga emphatically said that the party has nothing to do with the interl matters of the Congress and is ready to face mid-term poll at any point of time if situation demand. When asked whether the party would accept the Congress dissident members if fresh election is announced, he said ‘door is open for all’. He, however, disclosed that so far nobody had approached the party. “We are ready to put candidates in the two vacant seats following resigtion of two Congress members Gabriel Deng Wangsu from Kanubari constituency and Wanglam Sawin (Khonsa East),” Tagak added.
