BJP stages protest in Lakhimpur

Lakhimpur, December 29: Hundreds of BJP leaders and supporters of Lakhimpur district protested against Congress MLA Nilamoni Sen Deka’s controversial speech at a recent public meeting in lbari district. The protesters carried out a protest rally from the district party office to the North Lakhimpur Malpani Chariali where they shouted slogans against the Congress government and burnt the effigy of Deka. They strongly condemned the comment and demanded arrest of Deka.
