FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT
Itagar, May 28: BJP tiol spokesman Syed Shahanwaz Hussain has asserted that the party will take Aruchal Pradesh to the zenith of development once it sit at the helms of affairs in the state.
“As the first alphabet of Aruchal starts with ‘A’, accordingly BJP will make it an ‘A’ grade state once it takes over the reins,” Hussain told reporters at party’s headquarters here on Friday.
Hussain reiterated that the day is not far when BJP would be forming a government in the state and for this BJP state president Tapir Gao had a big role to play.
Lauding Aruchal for its rich resources and potential in terms of tourism, the spokesperson said, “If communication problem is resolved, Aruchal will become the next Switzerland, and tourists will flock in large numbers to Itagar.”
“The BJP’s first priority is to develop the tourism and horticulture sectors of the state and that will for sure be done by 2019,” Hussain said adding that the state had not developed because of the Congress misrule over the years.
Taking a dig at the opposition, Hussain who was a former union minister, alleged Congress of being the root of corruption in the entire country.
“Congress has no policy and it is only good at putting false allegations. Like Assam the entire north east will be Congress and corruption free region very soon. They (Congress) have no trust in their own legislatures and are now making them sign bonds. So how can we expect the Congress to trust the public when it cannot trust its own legislatures,” quipped Hussain.
When questioned on Central flagship schemes not being implemented in the state of that like Swaach Bharat Abhiyan etc, the spokesperson assured that once BJP takes over the command it would make sure that the entire garbage and corruption will be cleaned from the state.
“The Centre has prepared plans for Aruchal and accordingly all the communication gap in the state will be elimited by 2019. Aruchal is in Prime Minister rendra Modi’s heart so there is no need to be worried and moreover there is no stopping for us now,” claimed Hussain.
Also congratulating West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee for taking oath as chief minister for the second term, the former union minister went on to add that PM Modi’s vision and the work he has done for the country would be forever carved in the history with gold.
