BJP will form the next government with BPF's help: Mohilary

Rangia, February 8: BPF will support BJP outside BTC in ensuing assembly poll of Assam. This was stated by BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary before a large gathering at Rangia, Dolegaon on Monday.

According to Mohilary, the Congress and AIUDF get only 20 to 25 seats but BJP with the help of BPF will form the next government. In his speech he said that after election the BPF- BJP government will form Tamulpur and Gossaigaon district with Goreswar and Kachugaon subdivision.  The vision document of BPF will be published on February 10, he added.

Mohilary assured that he would construct the Rangia - Goreswar road, railway overbridge at Goreswar, Tangla, Basugaon this year and at Fakiragram  and Udalguri next year as declared in the meeting. He will also give Rs 5 crore from BTC package to revive the Assam Polyester Mill, Tulsibari Rangia.

The BTC chief slammed the Cong government and ABSU president Promod Boro for their activities. The BPF will help BJP in about 30 constituencies outside BTC area and BJP will definitely win in those seats and will form the next government, he said.

Mohilary said that he would pay Rs 8,000 each to 200 SHGs in each constituency within BTC area and after election he would extend this scheme to non-BTC areas.  The rally was presided over Keshav Rajbongshi, president BPF Tamulpur district committee. Biswajit Daimary, Rajya Sabha MP, Maheswar Basumatary and Dr Mril Deka, candidate of BPF for Rangia constituency, also spoke at the meeting. They requested the gathering to cast their vote in favour of Dr Mril Deka for all-round development of Rangia constituency. The meeting was organized by BPF Tamulpur district unit.
