BJP will not enter into alliance in BTC polls, says Ranjit Das

Kokrajhar, March 7: Bharatiya Jata Party (BJP) MLA Ranjit Das on Friday said here that the BJP will not enter into any alliance with any party in the BTC polls.

Addressing a press conference here, Sarbhog MLA Das , who is also the in-charge of BTAD BJP unit said the party will contest in all 40 constituencies of the Boroland Territorial Area Districts (BTAD) without any alliance because the people of the region want BJP to fight the polls alone.

Das pointed out that the people of the BTAD region are seeking security of their life and property as well as development.

“If we are voted to power, we will emphasize on the holistic development of the BTAD region,” Das added.

The BJP legislator also said that over twenty thousand people including leaders from different political parties will join the BJP in a big mass gathering held at Kokrajhar on March 8. The Union Minister Sarbanda Sowal and Kiren Rijiju will participate in the mass gathering, he said.
