BJP workers gherao Rameswar Teli's residence

DULIAJAN, Feb 13: Almost 200 BJP workers of harkatia constituency gheraoed MP Rameswar Telly’s residence at Duliajan on Saturday morning. The BJP workers were allegedly unhappy over the fact that BJP had left the harkatia assembly seat for AGP following the alliance with the regiol party. The workers felt that this decision would deprive senior BJP members. Pradip Buragohain, Suren Gogoi, Ranjit Baruah, Jagdish Rajkonwer, Mohan ag, Amulya Changlari along with 16 members were seeking tickets from BJP for the harkatia assembly constituency. Among them, Pradip Buragohain, Jagdish Rajkonwer and Ranjit Baruah are quite popular among the people. The protesters later submitted a memorandum with Rameswar Telly regarding various issues.
