BJYM organizes maiden 'Yuva Sammelan' in Itanagar

ITANAGAR: State Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organized its first-ever 'Yuva Sammelan' 2018 amidst around two thousand participants of youths from all the district of the State at Nyokum Lapang ground here on Sunday.

The Sammelan will witness various sports, cultural events, party meetings and dissemination of knowledge about various schemes and benefits provided by the state as well as central government to the people. State BJYM president Taring TIri informed The Sentinel that the programme will continue for three days from 23rd to 25th of this month where various party discussion on 2019 elections will be discussed among the Yuva Morcha.

There are also sports and cultural events on the three-day long event to "keep the healthy body and sound mind of the party workers", he informed. Awareness on central and state schemes will be imparted to the district and Mandal-level karyakatas of the party so that they in return inform the people at the village level.

In his short speech, BJP state Convener for IT Vijay Sonam highlighted 'Modi Mobile Apps' and asked the workers to make the best use of the Apps in attaining party objectives, works and knowledge on various development works of the party.

Seeking help from party yuva workers, he asked them to participate in every decision making of the party by enrolling themselves to the Apps.

"A person has very limited knowledge about various schemes and pilot projects provided by the government which these Apps will provide. To make it known to all the people of the State we will discuss more on it in the days so as to provide knowledge and benefits of it," he added.

Earlier MLA Liromoba Constituency Nyamar Karbak inaugurated the first day of sports event in the morning. In the inaugural sports event, 'Tug of War' was played among the participants from different district.

BJYM National General Secretary Sarouv Chudry, BJYM National Secretary Sourav Sikdar,National Secretary Sikut Dutta witnessed Programme at Nyokum Lapang itanagar Arunachal Pradesh on the day.
