‘Black Topping of Roads is Top Priority for Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council’- Tuliram Ronghang

Donkamukam: Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) CEM Tuliram Ronghang on Monday said that his top priority in the next couple of years was blacktopping of roads. “The present Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) under my leadership has earmarked Rs 100 crore for the black topping of existing roads in the district and in my constituency (Bithung Rengthama MAC Constituency), Menmiji Phangtengphrang and Chitolijan Karbi Rongsopi road will be completed within this year,” said Ronghang while distributing medicated mosquito nets to selected BPL families at Phangtengphrang village under Bithung Rengthama MAC constituency in West Karbi Anglong on Monday.

“Prime Minister Modi has launched several schemes for the uplift of the poorer section of the society and another such scheme, Ayushman Bharat will be launched by the Prime Minister next month,” he added. He was accompanied by former Veterinary Board chairman Ditotal Hasnu, and VDC chairman of Bithung Rengthama Constituency, Ramson Rongpi.
