Blood dotion camp held

MRUP, April 1: As part of the ninth edition of the Tata Voluntary Week Campaign, a voluntary blood dotion camp was organized on Saturday at mroop Tea Estate hospital premises. The camp was mainly aimed to create awareness among the people regarding voluntary dotion of blood. The camp was iugurated by Gautam Baruah, Senior Mager, mroop TE. It was followed by an open session where dignitaries, including Dr Bijit Dowarah, Medical Officer, mroop TE, were present.

In the open session, the needs and importance of blood dotion in saving lives and also improving the quality life were highlighted. Deep Goswami, Welfare Officer, mroop TE, played a key role in organizing this camp and  a team from Blood Bank, AMCH, Dibrugarh assisted in the camp. A total of 17 donors voluntarily doted blood in the camp.
