Bodo organizations felicitate newly-elected MLAs of hill districts

HOWRAGHAT, June 18: The Bodo frontal organizations of Karbi Anglong felicitated the four newly-elected MLAs of the hill districts of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao. The four MLAs - Sum Ronghang of Diphu constituency, Dr Numol Momin of Bokajan constituency, Joyram Engleng of Howraghat constituency and the only MLA from Dima Hasao, BB Hagjer, were warmly felicitated on Friday at the Bodoland Guest House in Guwahati with Bodo traditiol aroi. Sarat Brahma, MAC, KAAC said that the leaders of Bodo frontal organizations discussed several issues with the four MLAs. They also apprised the MLAs of various social problems of different communities living in the hill districts and urged the four MLAs to solve their respective problems and to give equal importance and equal rights to every community for peace, development and integrity. Meanwhile, the four MLAs assured to work equally for every community in the hill districts, Sarat Brahma said.
