Bodoland People’s Front will win Kokrajhar seat with clear majority: Hagrama Mohilary

Kokrajhar: Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) supremo and chief of Bodoland Territorial Council, Hagrama Mohilary has expressed confidence that his party would win the Lok Sabha election from Kokrajhar constituency with clear majority.

Talking to reporters after a party meeting in Kokrajhar, Mohilary said the BPF would win the Kokrajhar seat with over 5 lakh votes. He also said that sitting MP and independent candidate Naba Kumar Sarania would win more than 4 lakh votes while UPPL candidate UG Brahma would win more than 3 lakh votes. He also said the BJP-AGP-BPF alliance would win in 10-12 seats in Assam. The BPF has fielded Pramila Rani Brahma from Kokrajhar constituency.

A party meeting of BPF was held on Thursday in Kokrajhar to analyze the votes in the April 23 election. Senior party leaders like Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary, party vice-president Prabin Boro, Pramila Rani Brahma and other party workers attended the meeting.
