Body found in city

GUWAHATI, April 7: The body of an NBCC engineer, Suman Lodh, was found on a drain near the VIP Road in Guwahati today. The body bore injury marks and the hands were tied from behind. A box was recovered near the body. Lodh was in Delhi and his family is staying at Lachit gar in Guwahati. He came to Guwahati on April 5 and was missing since the noon of April 6. Meanwhile, Paltan Bazar police picked up the wife of the engineer for interrogation when she went to the police station to lodge an FIR stating that her husband was missing.
