Body of newborn baby recovered in Jorhat

Jorhat: The body of a female newborn baby was recovered from the Goromur Crematorium garbage dumping ground. The body was wrapped with clothes and paper.

Local people suspect that the baby was killed by her parents. A complaint has been lodged at Goromur police outpost to ensure proper dumping and throwing of waste beside the crematorium side, said Hriday Bora, Ward Commissioner of JMB.
