Bolen Boro ordained as new priest

KOKRAJHAR, January 12: Deacon Bolen Boro of Barama was ordained as a priest of Catholic Church by Thomas Pulloppillil, Bishop of Bongaigoan recently at Barama Catholic Mission compound. The Ordition ceremony was attended by thousands of Catholic and non-Catholic people. The ceremony was led by Father Joe Swmkhwr Basumatary of Bongaion Diocese. To honour the newly-ordained priest, a cultural programme was organized by Jatin Daimary. It was attended by hundred of priests. The liturgical singing was led by faithful of Saraibil Parishioners of Kolrajhar district. Father Bolen Boro is the first priest from Baska area of Baksa district.
