Bongaigaon make steady progress against Silchar

Roshan hits ton against Jorhat

GUWAHATI, April 2: Bongaigaon placed themselves in good position against Silchar in the quarter fil league tie of the Nurudiin Senior Inter district Cricket Tourment at the Barsapra ground here today. Elected to bat, Silchar were bowled out 220 runs in their first innings. The side were once 69/6 before Ikramul Ali 93 (126B, 4×11, 6×3) and Pritam Das (55) added 109 runs in 7th wickets which made the total little respectable. Bongaigaon scored 73/2 in their first innings at stumps on day I.

In another game at the NFRSA stadium, Lakhimpur, rode on a fine ton from Roshan Basfor 109 ( 146 balls,4×7 6×3), scored 252 in their first innings. Jorhat finished the day scoring 4-0 in their first innings.
