Bongaigaon Refinery extends fincial help to school

BONGAIGAON, Dec 31: As a part of its CSR initiatives,  Bongaigaon Refinery has extended fincial assistance to Nepalpara LP School in Chirang district for the renovation of the entire school building. LW Khongwir, Executive Director iugurated the renovated school building on 30 December, 2015 in the presence of  Mas Bora, DGM(HR), BGR officials¸students, teachers and a large number of local villagers, stated a press release.

 The school situated on the North-East side of the Refinery was under dilapidated condition creating problem in the smooth imparting of education to the students from Class I to Class V. After the renovation of the building, besides having full-fledged classrooms for all the classes, the school has also got a teachers common room and a store room as well. The school magement committee expressed their sincere gratitude to BGR magement for facilitating the cause.

 After the iuguration of the renovated school building, a cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Mission was also conducted. A large number of enthusiastic school children, teachers as well as BGR officials took part in the drive. As a part of it, the school premise was cleaned up and placards spreading the message of cleanliness were also displayed. On the occasion, LW Khongwir, ED, BGR, Mas Bora, DGM (HR) and other officials also planted tree saplings for a green and clean environment.
