Book and Beyond to observe World Story Day

GAON, March 19: World Story Day will be observed in gaon on Friday under the auspice of Book and Beyond, a publishing house of gaon. The World Story Day was first observed in Sweden and later expanded to the continents of Asia, Africa, North and South America and Australia. In Assam also the World Story Day will be observed with the cooperation of UNICEF, by Mauchak Gosthi, Akanir Xahitya Xabha, Asom Lekhika Santha, and some other organizations. The World Story Day is observing with different themes each year. The theme chosen for this year is ‘Hope and Aspiration’. A story-telling competition will be held at Amulapatty LP School on Friday to mark the World Story Day.
