Border Security Force Team to Face Mohammedan Sporting of Kolkata in Soccer Final

GUWAHATI: BSF, Jalandhar entered into the final of the Independence Day Cup Soccer tournament defeating OILFC by a solitary goal at Nagaon on Friday. The all important goal of the match was scored by R Hembram just two minutes before the final whistle. In the final, which is slated for Saturday, the side will face Mohammedan Sporting of Kolkata. In the second semi-final, Mohammedan Sporting defeated Minerva Punjab FC by 2-1.

Philip scored both goals for the winning side in 44th and 61st minutes while Satinder Moni netted in the 79th minute for Minerva Punjab FC.

The final will kick off tomorrow at 5-15PM.
