Bordumsa incident hearing on May 22

GUWAHATI, May 16: The Assam Government constituted a one-man Committee headed by Additional Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna to enquire into the matter of quality and effectiveness of the bulletproof vest worn by former SI Bhaskar Kalita, at the time of encounter with ULFA (I) extremists at Bordumsa in Tinsukia District on May 4. As such, individual or organizations who may be having knowledge of the incident are requested to share the information in written statements to the Committee or by personal hearing from 12:30 pm to 3 pm on May 22 at Bordumsa inspection bungalow, a release said.
