Brown sugar, pistol recovered

SIVASAGAR, June 7: Police recovered a pistol and brown sugar from a youth along the Assam-Nagaland border on Tuesday. Police arrested the youth with the help of Army-CRPF. The youth has been identified as Putul Duorah of Sundarpur, Joysagar. Putul was smuggling a point 2-2 pistol and two bottles of brown sugar in a bike from Nagaland. Police also recovered a sharp weapon from him. Police informed that Putul is an employee of ONGC’s private institute.
