BSU expels Chirang district vice president

KOKRAJHAR, March 13: A special executive meeting of the Bodoland Students Union (BSU) was held today at Kajalgaon in Chirang district. The meeting was held under the aegis of Chirang district committee of BSU. The president and general secretaries of the district committees attended the meeting. The meeting discussed about the present social and political scerio of the BTC region. The meeting was chaired by Swgwmshar Basumatary, the president of BSU. The meeting discussed the issue of some members working against the constitution of the union. The union, after a prolonged discussion, took a decision to expel Mohon Chandra Boro, the vice president of the union for violating the organization’s constitution. Show cause letters were served to some others as well. The organization also appointed Sanjay rzary of Chirang district as the new vice president of the union replacing Mohon Ch. Boro.
