BTC chief condemns killing of couple

KALAIGAON, Feb 12: BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary has condemned the homicide in Kalaigaon and expressed deep condolences at the demise of Bakul Rabha and his wife Saru Rabha of Chengapara under Kalaigaon Police Station.  The couple was allegedly gunned down by militants on Friday night and their house was also burnt down. BTC chief Mohilary visited the spot on Sunday and he was accompanied by BTC EM Jagadish Sarkar along with BTC EM Lumchrau Daimari. Mohilary told media persons that he would offer fincial assistance to the victim’s family.  Meanwhile, Maheshwar Baro, MLA of Kalaigaon LAC, also arrived on the spot with the BTC chief and he demanded immediate investigation to be carried out to apprehend those responsible for the killing.
