BTC polls: Candidates meet Chirang adminstration officials

KOKRAJHAR, April 9: The Chirang district administration held a meeting on Thursday with the contesting candidates and representatives of political parties at Kajalgaon in the conference hall of the District Centre. This was informed by the DIPRO, Chirang, G. rzary.

The meeting was held on the counting arrangement in the district and to appeal to all contesting candidates and their political parties to maintain peace and harmony in the district during the poll result of the BTC election. The meeting was presided over by Chirang Deputy Commissioner Rupak Kr. Muzumder and attended by the Election Observer for 13 Chirang, 14 Chirang Duars and 15 Kajalgaon, Prison IG Prashanta Buragohain, Chirang SP Ranjan Kr. Bhuyan, ADCs, EACs, AROs, contesting candidates Amarsing Brahma, Rwngwra rzary, Lily Das and Rajesh Brahma.

The counting of votes will start at 8 am on April 11 and will be held in three rooms on 14 tables for13 Chirang, 12 tables for 14 Chirang Duars and 12 tables for 15 Kajalgaon at UN Brahma College in Kajalgaon.
