BTC polls: Two nomitions rejected in Bhergaon

Tangla, March 27: Two nomition papers for Bodoland Territorial Council elections, scheduled to be held on April 8, have been rejected in Bhergaon sub division of Udalguri.  The nomition papers were rejected after scrutiny at the office of the Sub-Divisiol Officer (Civil), Bhergaon on March 26.  In Khairabari constituency, the nomition of one Amrit Rabha (independent) was rejected.  The other nomition that was rejected is that of Keshab Deka (independent) from Mudaibari constituency. It may be mentioned that Deka was formerly elected as an MCLA from AGP from the same constituency. Altogether 35 nomitions were found valid and correct in five BTC constituencies under Bhergaon Sub-Division.
