Cachar BJP Takes Out Protest Rally

SILCHAR: Leaders, members and workers of Cachar BJP here on Friday took out a massive protest rally condemning the deplorable incident of manhandling of Lankeshwar Moran, district BJP president of Tinsukia on Wednesday. The rally started from the party office at Itkhola and moved through the streets of the town.

It may be mentioned here that on January 30, protesters in Tinsukia attacked Lankeshwar Moran when he was on his way to attend a programme organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). While condemning the act, the Cachar Bharatiya Janata Party said these miscreants have no work other than to create disturbance in the State in the name of protests.
