Capital law & order reviewed: Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar: Officers and personnel of the capital police during a meeting here on Thursday reviewed the law and order situation, traffic regulation, police patrolling and naka checking, besides the status of the pending cases in various police stations of the capital region.

Resource persons from the police department made PowerPoint presentations on various procedures related to day-to-day official activities of the police personnel. Although it was a routine exercise, the massive scale of the meeting was a first of its kind as it involved the presence of officers from all the police stations of the capital complex, along with investigation officers, Capital SP M Harsha Vardhan said.

“The pending cases of 2018, process of investigation, improvement of law and order, traffic management, nakas checking, night patrolling and other crime-related issues, availability of security forces and deployment were elaborately discussed in the meeting,” the SP added.
