HAFLONG, June 17: To facilitate the students in choosing their career in future, the Chakya Welfare Society in collaboration with Chamakya Junior College, organized a workshop on career counseling at the Don Bosco High School here today.
Ranjan Kumar Baruah, a renowned career mentor was the resources person of the workshop where more than 300 students from various schools of Haflong including Don Bosco, St Agnes High School, Synod High School, Govt. Boys high school took part in the workshop.
Earlier the resource person Ranjan Kumar Baruah was felicitated by father Emanuel of Don Bosco.
Emanuel in his speech appealed appreciated the organizers of the workshop which he felt is very necessary for the students community.
Professor Dinesh Tiwari of Haflong Govt Collage and also the advisor of Chakya Welfare Society in his introductory speech said the Chakya Welfare Society in collaboration with Chakya Junior College has organized this workshop keeping in the mind that the students of Dima Hasao are being confuse due to lack of proper career counseling and this type of workshop could help them to choose their future career in a right way.
