TANGLA, April 20: A day-long career counselling workshop specifically aimed at equipping students with various perspective of selecting one’s career in animation and VFX, design and photography, computer hardware and networking along with honing one’s soft skills was held at Tangla College on Friday. The seminar was held under the aegis of a pioneering private institute of Mangaldai, Ignited Minds in collaboration of IQAC cell of Tangla College. A three member counselling team headed by acclaimed photographer and Director of Ignited Minds, Udayaditya Kashyap accompanied by Abhijit Roy and Jahnabi Rai Deka gave a brief overview on the sectors which are rapidly growing industries in the state. The students were apprised of vast job opportunities in the fields which are still in nascent phase in the State.

Speaking on the occasion, Udayaditya Kashyap said, “We have seen rising cases in the number of students who are unemployed even after getting multiple degrees and qualification. This modern-day problem needs to be addressed with a lot of attention as the consequences are grave.”  The programme was inaugurated by Principal of Tangla College, Dr. Prasen Daimari.
