Career counselling programme organized by Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology of Tezpur

Tezpur: A programme for spreading career related awareness among the students and guardians was organized by Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) located in Dekargaon, Tezpur, which is the first organization in the State under PPP mode. On the same day, the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) was also held in the college and the career counselling session was held at the college seminar hall for the benefit the guardians of the candidates of the PAT examination and other interested students. A similar career counselling programme was organized on May 5 when National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) examination was held at GIMT, Tezpur. The whole programme was coordinated by the Principal of GIMT Tezpur, Dr Buljit Buragohain. He satisfactorily responded to various queries by the students and guardians and gave many valuable career-related suggestions.
