Numaligarh: With an aim to infuse knowledge about career building in youth, a workshop on career counselling was held by Career Care in collaboration with NRL at Rajabari High School premises recently. Career Care is a leading NGO of Numaligarh-Bokakhat area and is working to enhance the skills of youth in the field of education and literacy by organizing many career counselling and job orientation workshops and seminars.

In the workshop, Mathematics Professor of CNB College, Bidyut Kr. Boruah took a session on ‘Magical Maths’, Bikash Borua of NRL on ‘Power of Mind’ and ‘Career Planning’, and president of Career Care, Beauty Boruah shed light on competitive examinations and coaching.

In addition to academic career, the resource persons also shed light on vocational skills, self-employment and career-based competitive examinations. The session was very interactive and it was very helpful for the students. Talking to this correspondent, senior journalist and noted educationist of Numaligarh area, Priyangdeep Kakoti said that these career counselling sessions were the need of the hour for the students of this region as Numaligarh had many talented students but sometimes they become confused in choosing the right career.
