Cattle seized

SHILLONG, Feb 7: The troops of Border Security Force troops deployed at Ringthingpara, Lukaichar and Gopithkilla (South West Garo Hills district) seized 96 cattle being smuggled to Bangladesh. Similarly, in another incident, the BSF troops deployed at Lyngkhat, East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya seized 20 cattle while being smuggled to Bangladesh. The special operation party of BSF laid a trap while some smugglers along with cattle were proceeding towards Bangladesh through a thickly vegetated area.
