GUWAHATI, Feb 6: An Indian cattle smuggler was apprehended by the BSF troops under Guwahati Frontier along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Dhubri district today. The cattle smuggler was identified as Afsar Ali (40) of Bir Singh Jarwa village under South Salmara police station in Dhubri district, a top BSF official said in a statement. He was apprehended by the troops of BOP Bhogdore, while he was trying to smuggle cattle heads from India to Bangladesh. The apprehended cattle smuggler has been handed over to South Salmara police for further legal action.
