JOYSAGAR, May 7: The Halwating Police of Sivasagar district arrested three suspected cattle smugglers from Tifuk Tea Estate area on Sunday night. Police also recovered four cows from their possession which they had stolen from one Madan Tanti’s house on Saturday. The arrested cattle smugglers are Naresh Gowala, Samel Kalandi and Padum Bhumij of Tifuk TE area, sources informed.
