Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Mohesh Chai visits Disease Investigation Laboratory (DIL), takes stern action

ITANAGAR, July 17: Minister for AH & VHF and Sports & Youth Affairs Mohesh Chai took a surprise visit to Disease Investigation Laboratory (DIL), Nirjuli, to assess the facilities available in the laboratory for the patients on Monday here.

“It was good to know that our Doctors are dedicatedly working at the laboratory despite several difficulties,” he told this daily.

It was unfortunate to see that the bio-security of poultry farm was being compromised with by about 15 labourers who are without any authorization to stay at an under construction building within the complex.

“The concerned contractor was using the building for keeping his labourers, while illegally making access to electricity connections for their use,” he added.

Chai has asked the labourers to immediately vacate the premises and to clean the area before vacating the building.

Making a stern call, he also instructed the department officers to file a report on matter.

In the meantime, Chai also visited the under construction farmer's hostel, government poultry farm and the Central drug store.
