Chandrababu idu to visit Singapore

Hyderabad, March 29: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu idu will lead a delegation on a two-day visit to Singapore, beginning on Monday. This will be idu’s second visit to Singapore in five months and it comes a few days before Singapore is expected to come out with the master plan for the new capital for Andhra Pradesh. The chief minister will begin the visit with a breakfast meeting with Singapore’s Foreign Affairs Minister K. Shanmugam followed by a high-level meeting with Singapore’s Second Minister for Trade and Industry S. Iswaran. The delegation will then take part in a business semir where several businessmen and industrialists will meet idu, said a statement from his office here on Sunday. idu will also attend a meeting on solid waste magement which will be followed by signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the tiol University of Singapore (NUS) and the government of Andhra Pradesh. The next day, idu will meet Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong. He will then go around Bishan Park and Toa Payoh Town which is an integrated transport hub, commercial and civic space. (IANS)
