Beyond Kejriwal and Sisodia, 11 other AAP MLAs have been named in the charge sheet as accused. The MLAs named as accused are - Amanatullah Khan, Prakash Jarwal, Nitin Tyagi, Rituraj Govind, Sanjeev Jha, Ajay Dutt, Rajesh Rishi, Rajesh Gupta, Madan Lal, Parveen Kumar and Dinesh Mohania.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Samar Vishal before whom the final report was filed, has put up the matter for consideration on August 25.

In May 2018, the Delhi Police had questioned Kejriwal regarding the alleged assault on Prakash.

Allegations are that Prakash was assaulted during a meeting at Kejriwal's residence in February when the Chief Minister was present.

The police had already questioned the 11 MLAs present at the Chief Minister's residence for the meeting. Two of the party MLAs -- Amantullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal -- were arrested in the case.

The alleged assault on Prakash had resulted in a great altercation between the Kejriwal -led Delhi Government and the bureaucrats.

The February incident, when broke, had sent tremors across the country's bureaucracy. The statements made in the first place were in themselves contradictory.

The Chief Secretary held that he was called to Kejriwal's residence at midnight to discuss issues related to releasing advertisements to mark the AAP’s three years in power; while the party stated that the meeting was to discuss why several families had not received rations under the PDS due to faulty implementation of Aadhar.

The Chief Secretary was found to have marks of injury on his face as per medical reports which had been handed over to the Delhi Police. AAP MLA Amantullah Khan had surrendered, while another MLA of the party from Deoli, Prakash Jarwal had been detained and later arrested.
