Chef de Missions inspect Shillong's venues

Shillong, Jan 13: The Chef de Missions of all eight participating tions at next month’s 12th South Asian Games undertook a tour of the five venues in co-host city Shillong today. Accompanied by South Asian Games (Shillong) Organising Committee CEO RK Sharma, Joint CEO FR Kharkongor, Special Advisor RK Sacheti and other senior officials, the Chef de Missions visited First Ground, Polo; Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium; Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Hall; SAI Special Area Games, NEHU; and NEIGRIHMS Indoor Stadium. Sharma said that the Chef de Missions were happy with the accommodation, security and details of the cultural events lined up for the Games.
